Filmed in black and white, 2Four keeps a theme for this video in a simple, yet effective way. The video is shot in a way that expresses this Nashville hip hop lyricist’s honest style. He strips down the video to the purist kind of performance. It’s just him, as an artist, performing against a background full of Nashville noir. Yeah, we see those Nashville landmarks back there, and couldn’t be more pumped about it. This is an artist that represents his city with pride.
And, why not? He’s representing freakin’ Music City.

Secondly, can we talk about this guy as a lyricist? Rhetorical question. Yeah, we definitely can and should. Some of my favorite lines have to be Spin letters like Vanna White and Motherfucker, I’m the one here, outer space, moonwalking out with no air. However, there’s also I’m the darkness, you better bring a night light, I take the power of the sun to kill the moonlight. What can I say? I’m a highly visual writer.
2Four is a welcome hip hop addition the Nashville Unsigned family. On top of a humble demeanor in person, he has impressive charisma while performing. As a listener, you can tell that music is his creative outlet. As a creative, you can’t help but respect this Nashville artist for chasing his dream.
