Are we on the same page now? Awesome. Both Nashville Unsigned Alum, these two found the inspo to collab when a mutual friend recommended Lackhoney to Gatsby. In fact, Gatsby started the song 6 months ago and was waiting for the right fit and we think it was well worth the wait.

What else have these artists been up to?

“Nobody” is Gatsby’s first release since he graced us with his singles, “Lonely” and “Twisted” in 2019. These tracks delivered catchy melodies with soulfully emotional vocals and we’ve been craving new music ever since. Gatsby hopes to release another single at the end of THIS month, along with 3 new songs hopefully coming out by the end of the year.

Lackhoney has also been busy, dropping a mix tape, “SWEETS” which has everyone talking about these 30-second songs. This mix tape combines toe-tapping, head-bopping beats with fast and clever lyrics that make us audibly say, “Whoa.” Additionally, he recently released another single, “Not So Bad”, which focuses on how we are all feeling in this quarantine life. This year Lackhoney looks forward to releasing a new song every other week, with a remixed version of his track, “Bruce Lee”, dropping next Friday the 17^th.

When asking both artists what they look forward to the most after quarantine, they were quick to respond. Gatsby can’t wait to go out to a restaurant and just hang with friends, while Lackhoney is just excited to finally see his girlfriend who is currently stuck in Dallas.

Both artists have definitely maximized their time in quarantine to deliver the goods on this track. This song remains on repeat as we find ourselves dancing through our apartment or on the way to the grocery store. If you haven’t checked out the song, “Nobody” yet, what are you waiting for?!?!
