This independent artist out of Nashville is straight murdering the game right now. With her unique, fun, fresh, casual/ sexy/ trendy look, and raspy voice, she takes us to this super cool comfortable level with her music– making it feel like we’ve known her for years. Carla definitely has the feel and vibe of Halsey. Teasing the airwaves with her tones, fluctuations, and playing around with heavy bass and EDM in her music along with taking us back to some 80’s-inspired pop. Everything that she brings is all collective in what and who she is as an artist. Always staying true to herself.
I was so extremely impressed with CAPPA when I first had the pleasure of hearing her music and seeing her videos. Without knowing, you would think she’s signed with some big label like UMG or Big Machine, or even a big booking agency like CAA or William Morris, but truth is, she’s COMPLETELY independent. What’s even more impressive is she is embarking on her first US tour this month supporting Matt Wertz and launching a new EP in the same month. Whatt??!! In the same month?! Oh and I failed to mention she just got an impressive write-up by Billboard a few months ago using that to generate the buzz before her album and tour launch this month. This is why we ABSOLUTELY had to feature CAPPA this week because our entire job is to expose the world to the Amazing independent talent coming out of Nashville, and CAPPA falls nothing short of just that.
You go get your dreams girl, and we will be here in Nashville cheering you on as you take over the country for the next few months.
