Karim
This local hip-hop powerhouse has been knocking roofs off of Nashville venues for several years, telling his story and delivering his style with passion. A lyrical mastermind and visionary, Karim is cerebral with his writing and creative with his track choices. His depth comes out in his music and is something that defines him as an artist. As much as he can get the club bouncing, he can bring it back and give listeners a moment of introspection. This allows him to explore a range of energies with each track and makes for one hell of a live performance.
Coming off a small hiatus, Karim has returned strong over the past year with several new track releases. “Kings Don’t Bow” used the high-energy backdrop of T.I’s “King” to create a track that would reintroduce him to the world as the force to be reckoned with that he is. The resulting momentum from this hype song brought more fire as Karim released a brand new series of remixes titled the “Karimix” soon after. With remixes of G-Eazy’s “Random” and Drakes “ 4pm in Calabasas”, Karim shows off his creativity and lyrical prowess by transforming these songs into his own: his own vibe, his own energy, his own flow.
On top of this creative brain and incredible stage presence, Karim is well-known to be all genuine, in his performances and in daily life. This humbleness pushes those who hold in to constantly one-up themselves, assuring that we can all expect more great things to come from this deep, lyrical artist. Check him out on Facebook, Instagram, and Audiomack!
With an EP release on the horizon, Karim continues to push his own art to the next level while staying genuine to himself. This is the kind of artist we get behind at Nashville Unsigned, a guy who can push himself to the next level and appreciate his fans because he’s genuine– and genuinely talented.
