This American Rock and Roll band, TRAMPS, is launching their debut, self- titled, EP on November 18th, 2016, but these guys are no strangers to the game, they actually all grew up in the music industry. Cody and Trevor were founding members of the rock band The Wedding, touring for 10 years. Darren and Abishai were two members of the band The Overseer’s, both signed to labels, these guys are nothing short of professional. Morphing together they formed TRAMPS.
After getting an exclusive sneak peak from Trevor, we have come to the conclusion that there is nothing quite like TRAMPS right now. TRAMPS inspiration comes from the classics. Music like Springsteen, Petty, Morrison, Seger, and Mellencamp definitely reflects in their tunes. Of course, knowing exactly how to put a modern day twist on rock and roll is crucial to their aesthetic. Cool raspy tones from Trevor draws us in and leaves us curiously addicted for what the next song brings.
The Album.
The guys wrote these songs in the midst of real life experiences. They tell us its pretty much an autobiography of their lives as they have played out. Which is why this album is about 6 years worth of life’s experiences from the great, the good, and the life altering moments that course corrected or shifted each one of their directions in life. TRAMPS does an amazing job giving us that feel-good music where you just want to jump in your car, or on your motorcycle, take down the windows, blast the radio, and just feel the breeze blow through your hair ( for the ones with no hair, feel it on your face haha ).
