Two powerhouse talents, and might we add Nashville Unsigned Alumni, OnenO and Alaina Cross have teamed up for a soul shattering remix of Imagine Dragons “I Don’t Know Why”. Launching the single and music video simultaneously, OnenO and Alaina Cross strategically shock the Nashville Pop Scene with a double dose of “WTF just happened, that was amazing… let’s watch it again!”. You aren’t alone, we can’t break away from the infectious drop either. In fact, our browser history has a stuttering problem.

WHEN TECH MEETS MUSIC
OnenO is no stranger to the music scene. He is respected by some of the industry’s top elite players. He’s toured with the likes of RIHANNA, TOM MORELLO, KSHMR, A$AP ROCKY, CHRIS BROWN, EMINEM, JAY-Z, and LADY GAGA. And that’s just to name a few! Mastering his craft on the keyboard at a young age, OnenO jumped on the music tech rise long before it was cool. It’s 10,000 hours of fiddling with tech toys that likely is responsibly for a remix that hits as hard as this one. With new music rolling out for the rest of the year, we can only fathom the beats OnenO will drop next. Dare we say, we believe OnenO is producing on a similar level to the top producers in the game. We’re looking at you, Bieber and Gomez (ya we went there).

Alaina Cross launched her wildly successful “Six Ft” this year. She’s also got a new web series highlighting the behind the scenes hustle of “a day in the life” of a pop artist. Alaina is gaining momentum, and we can see why. She understands the value of fam for an independent. Teaming up with OnenO was a Nashville Unsigned Alumni collaboration of epic proportions. Alaina provided the record EXACTLY the vocal range it needed to make the remix soar.
THE MUSIC VIDEO
Bringing heat of his own, our very own Patryk Larney (Hope Tree Entertainment) directed the video. His skill set helps to elevate all the feels by capturing the pourely energetic live performance of the duo. With a multi colored treatment grabbing the POP dynamic of the song, the video simultaneously showcases the talents of both OnenO and Cross. This is the type of video that just makes me hype OD right out of my seat!
